A Question Worth Asking

What separates someone who listens to electronic music from someone who truly understands it? I spent years chasing that line — headphones on, notebooks open, pulling apart mixes and reading production theory at the same time. That dual habit is still how I work today.

I write and analyse. Those two things feed each other constantly. The analytical side keeps my writing honest; the writing keeps my analysis from going cold and abstract. When I cover a trend in DJ culture or break down how a particular sound has shifted over a decade, I'm drawing on both.

What You'll Find Here

Hands-on practice is non-negotiable for me. I test ideas before I write about them, which means the insights here are grounded in something real, not just theory borrowed from elsewhere. Whether you're just starting to explore electronic music or you've been deep in it for years, I write with both of you in mind.

  • Clear, jargon-free explanations that don't talk down to beginners
  • Honest analysis of trends, tools, and techniques
  • Practical takeaways you can actually use
  • A perspective shaped by genuine curiosity and regular practice

If any of that sounds useful, stick around. There's plenty here worth exploring, and I'm always glad to hear what questions you're bringing to the table — drop me a line via the contact page anytime.
